Brad Pitt Plays ‘Moneyball’ at Movie Premiere (PHOTOS)

Brad's Parade Interview
The story that started the drama.
Brad Pitt stepped up to the plate at last night’s Moneyball premiere, which took place last night in Oakland, Calif.

He looked handsome in a simple black suit, paired with stylish tinted sunglasses — but Angelina Jolie was noticeably missing from his side. But Brad seemed in good spirits and was surrounded by hundreds of fans who lines the streets to catch a glimpse of the A-list actor. As he walked the carpet, fans cheered, “Let’s go, Oakland!” — just like they do at A’s games.

The movie is based on the story of Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane’s successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players. The movie hits theaters on Friday, Sept. 23 and also stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Jonah Hill.
