Those hoping for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s wedding will have to hold out for quite a while. Despite what the tabloids are reporting, Brad spoke candidly on The Ellen DeGeneres Show about fatherhood and why he’ll only tie the knot — once gay marriage is legalized.

“We live in this great country that is about freedom. It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on everyday and that’s not what we’re about. That’s not what makes us great. Until that is reversed. I just don’t get it.”

So if gay marriage were widely legalized next week, Ellen DeGeneres asks, would they wed the “very next day?”

“It seems,” says Pitt, adding that “the kids are putting on the heat. They really are. They are putting on the heat.”

Brangelina currently have six children (all under age 12), which leads Ellen to ask how the pair manage to keep the romance hot.

“We find our time. We carve out Mommy, Daddy time… It’s called a hotel,” Pitt said. “You got to get out of this house. You got to leave.”
