New 'DWTS' Cast!
See who's ready to dance it up!
He might have a bunch of NBA Championship rings, but there’s no mirror ball trophy in Ron Artest’s future.

The NBA tough guy — who it turns out is quite the character — didn’t have enough air under him to carry on to week two in Dancing the the Stars after his “atrocious” (judge Len Goodman’s term) cha cha cha on the show’s season premiere. Still, Ron — or Metta World Peace, as he came to be known — was more than gracious upon his exit from the show.

“All I want to know is, who’s coming with me?” he jokingly asked, referencing the infamous Jerry McGuire line. He also had nothing but kind words for his newcomer pro partner, Peta Murgatroyd.

“Peta was great, everybody give a round of applause for Peta. She was awesome,” Artest said.
