'Mad Men' Creator Discusses Obsession Over Christina Hendricks' Curves
Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner told the LA Times says that perhaps he had a hand in the people's obsession with her curves.
"I'm kind of responsible -- her physique was something that hadn't been on TV in a long time," Weiner said.
"She's a sex symbol, and we're at a point in time where it's OK for people to say anything to anybody when you're a public figure."

Matthew went on to compare Hendricks to other iconic figures, and brought up that there is a difference in the media when it comes to men and women:
"Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie, their physique is something that becomes a part of the culture.... I can't make any jokes about it; I understand that it's hard for [Christina]. But does anyone talk to Jon Hamm and say, 'Lift your shirt up and show us your abs?'"
