Maria Menounos Plans on Freezing Her Eggs
Extra correspondent Maria Menounos isn't ready to have kids yet, but she's making sure the option stays open! The 33-year-old spoke to her parents on Dr. Drew's Lifechangers about her plan to make a family - someday.
"I'm going to freeze my eggs." she said. "I have decided I am going to have kids... but to make it realistic, because I'm not going to do it for a few years, we're going to freeze our eggs so that we have no problems down the line."
Maria told her parents that she hopes to work for a few more years before having children, and she's still not sure if she's ready to walk down the aisle with her longtime lover Kevin Ungaro.
"When I have kids, maybe I'll do it then," Maria stated. "Marriage can be a beautiful thing for some people but I don't think it should be a pre-requisite or something that's forced on people. We're happy, it's working. I'm not really a traditional person anyway."
