Soap Opera Stars Turned A-Listers (PHOTOS)

from DAYTIME TO PRIMETIME!
Soap Stars Turned A-Listers

Just because some of our beloved soap operas are disappearing from TV, it doesn't mean that the drama will stop for our favorite soap stars!

Enter Dirty Soap -- the new E! reality show that follows famous soap actors and actresses off the set as they navigate through Hollywood and their equally drama-filled private lives.

In lieu of Dirty Soap's premiere this week, Celebuzz has decided to dig through our archives to compile a list of our favorite soap stars turned A-listers! From Ringer's Sarah Michelle Gellar to Desperate Housewives's Eva Longoria, these Hollywood bigwigs all started off with humble beginnings on daytime television. Let's just hope their lives have gotten less dramatic over the years!

Celebuzz also recently had the chance to chat with Dirty Soap producer Mark Consuelos about his new show. The ex-All My Children actor says, "Being a former soap star, we’re very dramatic people. I find them very interesting … it’s going to be a fun show.”

But don't just take Mark's advice! Check out the actual stars of Dirty Soap airing out their dirty laundry below!
