Lindsay Lohan Lands Modeling Gig for Philipp Plein (PHOTOS)
Lohan's recent trip to Italy turned productive when on Saturday she was named the new face of designer Philipp Plein's 2012 clothing line. Appearing alongside the designer in a sleek black dress, Lindsay posed and answered questions about her new job -- one that could prove to be quite lucrative and helpful in getting her career back on track.

Modeling is running in the Lohan family recently. Lindsay's little sister Ali was recently signed to NEXT Modeling agency, and the young Lohan quickly came under scrutiny when she was seen out and about looking quite gaunt and much skinnier than she had been in the past. Many thought that Ali had undergone plastic surgery, prompting NEXT to issue the following statement:
"As a young girl who is growing up, it's natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. Aliana is a beautiful 17 year old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age."

Of all the young beautiful fresh face young women around the world who kill for this job Philipp Plein went with Lindsay Lohan. SMH. He must owe someone a HUGE favor.
Unfortunately it seems that she is no longer going to appear in Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father (2012). I hope she finally stops fooling around like she has been doing for the last six years.

Lindsay Lohan has been a freelance model for the last 5 years. People made a big deal that Ali Lohan had landed a modeling contract and insinuated that this was something Lindsay couldn't have done. If Lindsay wanted a modelling agency contract, she could have gotten one a long time ago. She could still get one. But she has less pressure to perform/conform as a freelance model, has the freedom to pick and chose her own work, and she gets to keep a higher percentage of whatever money she earns. She's in a far better position as a model then her sister.
My first comment was what happened to her neck? Was it after her neck was almost sucked off that she got the contract to be the face of the Italian fashion?

This designer is either desperate for bad publicity or just plain stupid. Lindsay Lohan was the best representative he could find for his line? So sad. She is the poster child for a dysfuncitonal has-been celebrity.
