Holly Madison on Hef’s Ring Being Hocked: ‘I Hope It’s for Charity’
When news broke early Friday that Crystal Harris was planning on auctioning off the engagement ring given to her by Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, the ethics of such an action were abuzz all over the internet.
So, Celebuzz reached out to Holly Madison, Hef’s former girlfriend who has not exactly been the biggest fan of Miss Harris. Her take on Crystal’s intentions? “‘I hope it’s for charity,” Madison told Celebuzz.
The ring is on sale at Christie’s, and the 3.39 carat circular-cut ring that any girl would kill for has a guide price of $20,000-$30,000. A source told RadarOnline that Harris “couldn’t bear to look at the ring anymore because it brought back bad memories,” and therefore decided to put it on the auction block.
There’s no word on whether she’ll make Holly’s wishes come true by donating the money to charity, but here’s hoping she does.
Earlier this week, Holly made headlines by announcing that she had her breasts insured by Lloyd’s of London for a whopping $1 million, making sure her, um, assets are protected in case of an emergency.
