Report: Madonna to Perform At Super Bowl Halftime Show

Madonna

It looks like next year's Super Bowl may get a dose of the Material Girl.

Sources for SB Nation are reporting that pop legend Madonna will perform at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show on Feb. 5. A spokesperson for the NFL has yet to comment.

If confirmed, Madonna would join a long list of musical legends who have performed during the always talked about halftime show, including U2, The Rolling Stones and the now-infamous Janet Jackson. According to the report, Madonna was approached to perform twice in past years.

The Black Eyed Peas, Usher and Smash headlined the show last year.

Sound off: Is Madonna the right choice for the gig? Or should they have gone with, say, Lady Gaga?
