Amanda Seyfried says she gets panic attacks as a result of her celebrity status and famous ex boyfriends.

“When I was with Ryan [Phillippe], people followed me so much more, and that’s probably one of the reasons that I’m not looking to date someone who’s famous now,” she tells UK’s Glamour magazine. She’s currently dating a real estate executive.

To get over her anxiety, she turned to a therapist. “[Therapy] has been such a great tool, and my therapist told me that I passed with flying colors, but we’ll see how things go,” she says in the November issue.

“I still do get terribly nervous, and that’s partly due to the fact I think too much and over analyze things,” she adds. “I’ll start worrying about my parents or my dog, and I’ll picture him opening the window of my apartment and falling out, even though I can’t get that thing open myself.”

She does reveal that there is one calming factor — her other famous ex, Dominic Cooper.

“Dom is my favorite person in the whole world and one of my closest friends,” she says. “I wouldn’t ever want us to stop being open with each other. If you truly love someone, I think you should be able to tell them everything.”

Amanda jumps back on the big screen with Justin Timberlake in In Time, out later this month.
