Johnny Depp is smoldering hot on the November cover of Vanity Fair and Hollywood’s highest earning actor gets candid- very candid- with how he feels about some things that come along with fame…like being photographed.

“You just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped. The whole thing. It feels like a kind of weird — just weird, man. . . . Whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like — you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid.”

Probably not the best comparison Johnny could give, so get ready for some sort of statement explaining his choice of words because we’re sure it wasn’t his intent to be insensitive.

Moving on, here are some highlights from the interview:

On his large paychecks: “Basically, if they’re going to pay me the stupid money right now, I’m going to take it. I have to. I mean, it’s not for me. Do you know what I mean? At this point, it’s for my kids. It’s ridiculous, yeah, yeah. But ultimately is it for me? No. No. It’s for the kids.”

His $3 dalliance with Scientology: “I went to a bunch, man. It was so great, it was so fantastic.”

Check out the full interview when it hits newsstands October 8.
