Rihanna Goes Blonde in UK Vogue, Says She's No Role Model (PHOTOS)
Rihanna is barely recognizable on the November cover of UK's Vogue as she rocks a sexy new blonde 'do in the sultry pics. In the issue, RiRi opens up to Vogue, defending her controversial videos and risque concert outfits.
"That’s not me. That’s a part I play. You know, like it’s a piece of art..."
She continued on her rant, admitting she doesn't want to be a role model -- now or ever.
"See, people, they want me to be a role model just because of the life I lead. The things I say in my songs, they expect it of me and [being a role model] became more of my job than I wanted it to be. But no, I just want to make music. That’s it. Look, God doesn’t give any more than you can handle. I had to get through a lot of ups and downs – big downs – and a lot of trial and error to get where I am now."Rihanna also hit the headlines last week after she went topless while shooting the video for her next single "We Found Love." However, the conservative farmer wasn’t the biggest fan of the nudity and said:
“The state of undress was becoming inappropriate. I had a conversation with Rihanna. I hope she understands where I’m coming from. We shook hands.”
In other Rihanna news, the title of her next album was revealed today. The album will be called Talk That Talk and will be released November 21.
