What's on TV this week?
Halloween is rapidly approaching, and  just in time for a good scare, FX’s American Horror Story premieres tonight, October 5. In anticipation, different promo billboards have been displayed everywhere that leave a bit to the imagination, and we are eager to see what creator Ryan Murphy (Glee, Nip/Tuck) has in store for us now.

Friday Night Lights star Connie Britton and The Practice star Dylan McDermott are the American parents in this TV show that follows a family who moves into a big house in Los Angeles that may be haunted, and was definitely the site of some murders.

To help celebrate the premiere of American Horror Story, Celebuzz has compiled a gallery of stars that got their start in horror films and shows. Which horror film break out star was your favorite? Let us know in the comments!

Murphy said of the scary scenes:

“The show talks about all kind of American horror stories that we are sort of being bombarded with on a day-to-day basis. So I do think that it’s a show that’s definitely of its time.”

Meanwhile, the Glee cast stepped out for the Horror Story premiere on Monday, (October 4) in support of Murphy’s latest series, with Lea Michele  being the night’s fixation.
