Beard or no beard, there's no mistaking that Jake Gyllenhaal looked pretty buff in a tank top and running shorts over the weekend. 

The actor was snapped going for a jog on a sunny fall day in New York City's Central Park, but that wasn't all he was up to this weekend!

Also on Saturday, Jake was seen at a Yom Kippur service in NYC. Looking casual, Jake was sporting a white tee and geek chic glasses.

Though he shaved his head for his latest role, it looks as though it’s growing back quite nicely! Jake is set to star in End of Watch, a cop drama, which will also feature America Ferrera, Michael Pena and Anna Kendrick. It hits theaters some time in 2012.

    Um, PiperLime's "Get the Look" button is a farce. Jake is not wearing Wayfarers or a Gap Tank. There's clearly a Nike logo on the tank. I'm sure a lot of money went into production of that app that completely fails. Meanwhile, children are dying of malnutrition.
