YouTube Stars Who Made it Big (PHOTOS)
People no longer wait around to be “discovered” by some Hollywood type, but rather put it all out there on YouTube for the world to see.
The proof is in the talent. There is perhaps no bigger star in the world than Justin Bieber, who was famously found on the video sharing site. Thanks, internet!
While the Biebs may be the largest star to emerge (so far), there have certainly been many more success stories — from Rebecca Black to comedian Jay Pharoah — Celebuzz has compiled some of our favorite web celebs!
Although music makers often turn to the site, it’s worth noting that actors have made their mark on YouTube as well. Take Teen Wolf star Dylan O’Brien for example; he landed his first TV role thanks to his satirical videos on the site, such as ‘How to Make a YouTube Video’ and ‘How to Prepare for the SAT in 45 Seconds’.
