Julianne Hough Reveals Her Go-To Flat Tummy Trick in 'Self'
She's Footloose and feisty, and in the November Self magazine Julianne Hough reveals some of her trademark go-to exercises that keep her looking super sexy!
She also gets personal about her relationship with Ryan Seacrest -- the two have been dating for over a year.
She tells Self: "A couple years ago, my dad asked me if, when I’m on the road by myself, no boyfriend, no family, no dogs to comfort me, I am happy with who I am. That stuck with me. If you don’t know yourself, you can’t really love anybody. Today, I am really happy with who I am and feel like I’m in the right place. I’d met Ryan many times over the years, but we got together at the right time."
As far as those tummy trimming moves, she says, "My go-to prebikini flat-ab move is the plank, all different types."
There are many variations of this exercise -- which can be done anywhere -- but the most basic form is to get in a pushup position, resting the on the forearms, holding completely straight while trying to holding in the abdominal muscles.
While Julianne clearly has an enviable bikini body, there is one area in her life she says needs improvement.
"If I'm not busy, I feel like I’m not doing enough," she adds. "I'm a pleaser. It’s my Julianne syndrome. I’m trying now to learn how to say no to certain things."
