Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are making sure their twin babies Moroccan and Monroe (Roc and Roe) grow up with music in their lives. From the womb, the couple told Barbara Walters on 20/20 that they would put a “belly boom box” on Mariah’s stomach so their babies could hear some tunes.

“You just put it on your belly and they hear [music] in the speakers from the beginning,” Mariah explained.  ”Some of the songs are me.”

The new mom also admitted that she would sing out loud to them her hit song “Hero” and begin to cry.

”You sang Stevie Wonder,” Nick chimed in.  “You sang your songs.” The America’s Got Talent host and a R&B performer himself said he was over the moon when he found out he was going to be a dad.

”I would carry around the ultrasound picture and be like, ‘You see that?!  That’s manhood.’”

Mariah and Nick’s interview with Barbara will air Friday night, Oct. 21 on 20/20. Will you be watching?
