This has been a whirlwind, record-breaking year for Katy Perry!

The release of her third studio album, Teenage Dream, in 2010 skyrocketed Katy into the public limelight, and singles from the album like "Firework", "E.T.", and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" became international hits this past summer. 

At the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, Katy was nominated for ten awards, the most of any artist at the ceremony! And if conquering the music world wasn't enough, Katy took a stab at acting! Who can forget her guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother or voice work as Smurfette in The Smurfs?
