Although Chaz Bono shuffled off Dancing with the Stars this week, he won’t be gone for long.

The world’s more famous transgender person is returning to TV with a brand-new special that looks at his life after his transition from a woman to a man. The one-hour show will also include behind-the-scenes- DWTS training and will touch on the firestorm of controversy his inclusion in the series ignited.

Called Being Chaz, it is the follow up to the Emmy-nominated Becoming Chaz.

The special will air on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) this November 27.

Chaz is a noted author and transgender advocate, the first ever to compete on DWTS.

“I came on this show because I wanted to show America a different kind of man,” he said after his elimination. “If there was somebody like me on TV when I was growing up, my whole life would have been different. So, I dedicate everything I did to all the people like me especially the kids and teens who are struggling.”
