Adele Schedules Vocal Cord Surgery, Cancels Tour
Sad news for Adele and her fans. The “Someone Like You” songstress has been forced to completely cancel her tour due to a throat issue.
Columbia Records says she has an upcoming surgery to repair her vocal chords. She suffered a hemorrhage near her vocal cords that has given her all sorts of trouble this past year — her most successful to date.
She’s been non-stop traveling to make appearances and perform during this time, and was forced to cancel her tour — twice — because of the problem.
“Doctors have ordered her to rest her voice and completely recuperate before looking to schedule any work commitments,” the label added.
We don’t want to wag fingers, but the Celebuzz staff all noted that Adele is a notorious smoker. She’s often been snapped puffing away, and has even done interviews on video smoking a cigarette!
