Kimora Lee Simmons: Confessions Of a SMARTaholic! (PHOTOS)
Last night’s WEEN SMARTaholic event at the Verizon store on 125th in Harlem was 4G-status Fabulosity!
The intimate gathering was attended by 50 of the most ambitious and beautiful women – and a few fab guys – that I’ve ever met. Alesha Renee moderated the discussion and touched on an array of topics including ambition and confidence in careers, striking a healthy balance between work and family and the importance of SMART technology for working women everywhere.
Many attendees were entrepreneurs looking for advice and guidance. I left with a Birkin full of business cards and sample products that I can’t wait to go through on the flight back home.
The event was broadcast live on GlobalGrind with questions submitted via web, text and by audience members.
Before the event I met members of the Verizon executive team and the management and staff of the store.
It was such a proud moment in my career. Having the opportunity to contribute whatever knowledge I have and share freely what I’ve spent a lifetime learning with these women was a gift.
When asked how I balance it all and stay connected, I had to admit, it’s all about the technology. Technology gives women – and especially working women – what we want: the ability to stay connected.
Thanks to everyone who worked the event and made it such a success! It was a fab night!
