Justin Bieber Addresses Mariah Yeater Paternity Suit on ‘Today’ (VIDEO)
Justin Bieber refuses to be a victim and decided to address the the paternity allegations head on. The pop star stopped by the Today show on Friday morning and is dismissing 20-year-old Mariah Yeater‘s claim that he fathered her 3-month-old son.
“I’d just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true,” Bieber told Matt Lauer. “I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim.”
The Today host pushed further, asking if he’d ever met the young woman. Biebs responded:
“Never met the woman… It’s crazy. Every night after the show I’ve gone right from the stage right to the car, so it’s crazy that some people want to make such false allegations.”
Earlier in the week, Bieber’s rep responded to the accusations, telling People.com:
“It’s sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”
