DWTS Scorecard: Rob Kardashian Gives His 'Best Dance So Far' on 'DWTS' (VIDEO)
With the DWTS champion trophy in sight, Rob stepped up his game and stunned the judges with a snappy performance of the quickstep for his first routine. His dance partner, Cheryl Burke, only had kind words to say about the star:
I know he can be a contender ... He's all that the competition is supposed to be about, so if I just push him harder, I know he can make the finals. So how did Rob fare on tonight's episode?
Judge Len Goodman was apprehensive about Rob's quickstep at first:
When you started, I thought this isn't going to work ... once you got in whole, the whole thing changed. You had a nice wide hold, you maintained it throughout. Your best dance so far.Bruno Tonioli added:
Your frame was good, your lines, the best lines you've done so far ... It's incredible the improvement.Meanwhile, Carrie Ann Inaba was blown away by Rob's development as a dancer:
You're sort of the ideal contestant, because you started out and you weren't that great ... Tonight, you're polished, you're smooth and you're light on your feet.It looks like Rob was quick enough on his feet for the quickstep this week! The judges awarded him an overall 27/30 (three 9's from each judge).
He continued his streak by doing the jive for his second dance. Although the judges all thought Rob needed to point his toes more, they were nonetheless impressed by his performance. They awarded him 24/30 -- bringing the total to 51 out of 60 for the night.
And while Rob's night was an epic one, another one of his competitors had an absolutely perfect night -- as J.R. Martinez scored 60 out of 60 with two perfect scores during his dances. And while Hope Solo and Ricki Lake both outscored Rob with total scores of 52, his fellow competitor Nancy Grace was the night's lowest-scored dancer, earning just 44 points out of 60.
