Although Ricki Lake is keeping her feet busy on Dancing with the Stars, she’s got serious business to take care of when she’s not shoe-shuffling towards that mirror ball trophy! 

Ricki has been hard at work on following up her groundbreaking documentary The Business of Being Born with a four-part film series that continues their provocative and entertaining exploration of the modern maternity care system.

Ricki took the time to check in from her trailer at Dancing With The Stars to talk about why this film is so important to her and how it felt to receive such an outpouring of celebrity support, including Alanis Morissette!  

Other celebs featured in the film series include Gisele Bundchen, Christy Turlington-Burns, Cindy Crawford, Molly Ringwald, Laila Ali, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Melissa Joan Hart.
