Robert Pattinson Talks 'Breaking Dawn' Wedding, Filming Love Scenes on 'TODAY' (VIDEO)
Continuing his whirlwind press tour for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, Robert Pattinson stopped by the TODAY show early Thursday morning to talk about the film's much-anticipated wedding scene and what the future holds for his acting career.
Of the wedding scene, RPattz said he quickly learned that the role of the groom in a wedding is "to be a prop." Kristen Stewart, meanwhile, had to deal with "all the heavy lifting" and stress, he said.
Rob added that most of the cast hadn't seen Kristen's Carolina Herrera wedding dress until the scene was actually filmed, so their reactions on camera were that of "genuine curiosity."
Meanwhile, anchor Ann Curry asked the 25-year-old hunk if he's anticipating his post-Twilight career with relief or trepidation, to which he replied "both."
And what about filming that famous sex scene? Rob said that he didn't feel pressure filming it in front of people. Instead, it came from having to live up to Twilight's legacy and competing with Taylor Lautner's six-pack abs.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 hits theaters next Friday, Nov. 18. Check out Rob's interview with Ann Curry above.
