Katy Perry, Adele & Madonna: This Week In Celebrity Cover Songs (VIDEOS)
Joseph Gordon-Levitt surprised students at Ohio State University during his show on Monday with an impromptu cover of “Ignition (Remix)” by R. Kelly. Accompanied only with a guitar, JGL’s version had the audience screaming and laughing the entire time—can you blame them?
She’s backkkk! YouTube darling Sophia Grace Brownlee returned to The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday for another round of singing. The 8-year-old won hearts over when she debuted her rendition of Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass” last month. This time around, Sophia and her cousin Rosie tackled Adele‘s “Rolling In The Deep” with just as much sass and charm. Check out their performance starting at 6:30.
Katy Perry goes…punk? Georgia-based rockers Woe Is Me took on Katy’s party anthem for the album Pop Goes Punk, Volume 4. The song starts off with a pop-friendly intro, but takes a noticeable angsty turn throughout the rest of the chorus.
Indie/alternative singer Tori Amos tried her hand at Madonna’s classic ballad, “Live To Tell” during her Night of Hunters tour. Tori’s piano version remained true to the song’s signature melancholy instrumentals.
