Adele 'Doing Really Well' After Throat Surgery
And now for some really good news: Singer Adele says she is recovering and doing "really well" following a recent operation on her throat to fix a a hemorrhaged vocal chord.
The singer gave fans an update Tuesday in a blog post on her official website, in which she thanked fans for their "positive thoughts and get well wishes."
"I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all. The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors," she said, before quipping, "I best get back to practicing my mime show now."
Late last month, Adele was forced to cancel all 2011 concerts in preparation for the surgery. Her CD, the uber-successful 21, has sold an astounding 4.3 million copies to date.
We wish Adele a full and speedy recovery.
