Rap Battle: Justin Bieber vs. Justin Timberlake (VIDEOS)
Not only do they share the same first name and have hugely successful music careers, but Justin Bieber and Justin Timberlake also seem to have a common appreciation for the art of rapping.
With hits like "Baby," "Never Say Never" and "Mistletoe," there's no denying that the Biebs is the reigning king of the pop genre right now. As many Beliebers and non-Beliebers have discovered, Biebs occasionally enjoys showcasing his freestyle prowess. His love for improvised hip-hop ignited the evolution of his alter ego, Shawty Mane, and he even rapped on "Drummer Boy" with Busta Rhymes for his Christmas album. Fans got a treat last month during a radio show appearance where he put his own spin on Jay-Z and Kanye's hit single, "Otis." But on Thursday, Justin rapped once again for Hot 97 in NYC.
JT's fans are all too familiar with his infamous beatbox and rapping sessions in his solo albums and during his N'SYNC days. Although he's been currently busy building his acting resume, the 30-year-old has found time to collaborate with Jimmy Fallon on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for three "History of Rap" skits, where the duo remix a number of popular hip-hop songs. But JT maybe taking his return to his musical roots a little bit more seriously. In October, his cameo on "Role Model" with rapper FreeSol debuted on YouTube.
