Cory Monteith Shows Off His Canadian Pride at CFL Grey Cup Parade (PHOTOS)
Cory Monteith returned to his homeland of Canada this Thanksgiving weekend to celebrate the Canadian Football League's Grey Cup kickoff in Vancouver, British Columbia. Sporting a BC Lions beanie (or as Canadians call it -- a tuque), Cory acted as the Grand Marshall for the parade as he waved to football fans from the back of a pick-up truck.
The Glee actor was thrilled to be back home for festivities. He tweeted:
Grey Cup Parade! The weather was a bit damp, but glad so many people came out!!!Aside from the Grey Cup parade, Cory also tweeted pics of Vancouver's snowy slopes and his encounter with Canada's Prime Minister. Talk aboot a Canadian overload (sorry, we couldn't help it)!
