With another year under her belt, Miley Cyrus continues to surprise us, but in a good way! The triple threat posted a video of her song "Liberty Walk" set to clips of the Occupy Wall Street protests around the world.
The tribute vid starts off with a powerful message for all those at the demonstrations, reading: "This is dedicated to the thousands of people who are standing for what they believe in. Don't give up! It's a 'Liberty Walk!'"
Miley's definitely using her fame for good. A few weeks back she took to her Twitter account to slam those who called anyone fat and put an end to eating disorders.
"By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people. I love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn't be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others.Meanwhile, Miley is battling her own bit of controversy. A video of the pop star allegedly admitting to smoking pot at her birthday party was released online. Her good friend Kelly Osbourne came out to her defense on twitter: "u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think".
The 19-year-old isn't the only celeb who's using their fame to help the Occupy Wall Street movement. Penn Badgley, Kanye West and Anne Hathaway have taken to the streets and joined in on the cause. Anne even held up signs saying "Blackboards Not Bullets" and "Student Debt is a National Threat".
