Who Is Adam Shulman? Meet Anne Hathaway's Fiance (PHOTOS)
Anne Hathaway turned a number of heads this week when news broke that she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Adam Shulman.
Though the couple has been dating for a steady three years, they've somehow managed to stay out of that pesky media spotlight, to the point where not that many people actually know who Adam is.
As a result, the team at Celebuzz decided to do a little research on Anne's scruffy husband-to-be, during which we discovered a number of fun facts. (Hints: He's got looks and brains!) Get the full rundown below.
Place of Birth: New York City
Education: Brown University
- Shulman graduated from the Ivy League university in 2003 with a degree in theater.
Profession: Actor; jewelry designer.
- Shulman has acted in a handful of movies and TV shows - some high-profile (NBC's American Dreams), some, well, not (The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning). He's also a noted jewelry designer; he co-founded the James Banks line this year, and helped design Anne's engagement ring. Color us very, very jealous.
When He Met Anne: 2008.
- At the time, Anne was fresh off her split from boyfriend-turned-criminal Raffaello Follier and was looking forward to being single for awhile. She later confessed that it took "a pretty long time" for her and Adam to get together, despite "hitting it off immediately."
