The wait was finally over on Tuesday night when the highly anticipated Glee episode "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" episode aired and was complete with favorite holiday tunes and ... light sabers!

Directed by Matthew Morrison,  the show starts out with Mercedes (Amber Riley) belting out Mariah Carey's hit song "All I Want For Christmas Is You." The episode also included an old fashioned Christmas scene, a homage to a Star Wars holiday and an elf named Itchy! Yes, they fit that all into one episode, and it gets better/weirder!

The Glee club are to put on a holiday special for PBS, but it ends up interfering with them helping the homeless with Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). This, in turn, splits up the club but not before we see Finn (Cory Monteith) in a Luky Skywalker costume.

Artie (Kevin McHale) comes up with the idea to make a Judy Garland meets Star Wars special after Chewbacca (you heard right) visits him in a dream. "I swore I would never sell out and do television. I'm going to have to think about this one Mr. Schue."

Some of the classic tunes on this episode include Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss) singing "Let It Snow," Rachel (Lea Michele) and Mercedes performing "My Favorite Things" as well as renditions of "Blue Christmas" and "Do They Know It's Christmas?"

What did you think of the Christmas episode? Did it top last season's holiday show? Sound off in the comments!

Best part of the episode was Puck and Finn as Solo and Skywalker. And to the above...seriously? There's rude, and then there's just plain disgusting comments.
