Say it with us: noooooo! ABC has canceled Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Stars such as the Kardashian's, Demi Lovato, and Michelle Obama have all appeared on the show this season.

Star Michael Moloney issued the following statement to Celebuzz:

"For nine seasons, I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to change lives across the globe with the help of loving communities, generous sponsors, and a cast that has become my second family. I will cherish the nine years with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, for the accolades we've received, but even more for the economic and social epidemics we worked so feverishly to tackle, and the stigmas we so tirelessly aimed to erase. I was lucky to have this show as a perpetual reminder of my own blessings, but my work won't stop with the end of the series. It is with a somber heart I close this chapter, but with such excitement I begin the next one. I have EM:HE to thank for the platform I have to continue doing good work and great design in 2012 and on."
The series finale will air Fri., Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

I would expect anything that Extreme Makeover Team touches turns to gold...What's more - they touch the hearts of many, engage the hearts of many - it is so fun to watch the show - and just makes you want to do something good for somebody - pull a prank on somebody too!

how can you cancel a show with such a good message? they really helped people in need. terrible :(

leave it to abc they certainly don't care what the public & fans want right look what they did to our beloved soaps. we were brought up and raised they were our american tradition passed on from grandparents to mothers and to the younger generation. what do they replace them with cheap running shows crap that have no educational or worth or motivation what so ever the chew as if america needed another show to encourage eating more when obesity has gone ramped here good idea abc. at least we'd see real talent acting on tv true talent real acting not shows about bickering and shouting matches like we do today its terribly sad. they've done it once again. sorry home makeover fans another reason to boycott abc because i certainly will like millions of others and i will encourage others to to the same good for abc they deserve whats coming to them.
