Say it with us: noooooo! ABC has canceled Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Stars such as the Kardashian’s, Demi Lovato, and Michelle Obama have all appeared on the show this season.

Star Michael Moloney issued the following statement to Celebuzz:

“For nine seasons, I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to change lives across the globe with the help of loving communities, generous sponsors, and a cast that has become my second family. I will cherish the nine years with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, for the accolades we’ve received, but even more for the economic and social epidemics we worked so feverishly to tackle, and the stigmas we so tirelessly aimed to erase. I was lucky to have this show as a perpetual reminder of my own blessings, but my work won’t stop with the end of the series. It is with a somber heart I close this chapter, but with such excitement I begin the next one. I have EM:HE to thank for the platform I have to continue doing good work and great design in 2012 and on.”

The series finale will air Fri., Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
