LaLa Vazquez’s whole world was turned upside down when her husband Carmelo Anthony was traded to the New York Knicks. She had to pack up her entire life in Denver and quickly move to the Big Apple. Although she has successfully adjusted, LaLa admits her heart went out to Khloe Kardashian when she heard Lamar Odom was traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

“I’m very happy for them. I just hope it’s a smooth transition,” LaLa told Celebuzz

LaLa has been in touch with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, lending both advice and support. Though she stayed mum about what they’ve discussed, LaLa knows Khloe and Lamar will fair just fine in the Lone Star state.

“I’m excited to see the great things Lamar can do for that team,” she said, adding that basketball wives have to be flexible because trades can happen at any minute.

Khloe and Lamar have remained very positive about the move. Khloe tweeted that she was initially “thrown off” by the trade but later added, “I am excited. I know this is for a reason.” The couple will be joined by Rob Kardashian, as they film new episodes of Khloe & Lamar.

Rob dished all about the move earlier this week, telling Celebuzz:

“I’m definitely going to move there, especially in the initial run to help Khloe pack and be with her. Khloe is going to be alone for the majority of the time because half the time Lamar will be on the road. We’re going to be filming and I’ll be keeping her company.”
