Darren Criss treated his loyal fans to a surprise performance at Joe’s Pub on Sunday afternoon in New York City. The secret performance was in support of Toys for Tots, so the first 100 people to bring toys to the venue got tickets to see the Glee star rock out!

The 24-year-old actor sang a number of songs, including a cover of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.” Sitting at the piano, Darren belts the pop hit — much to the enjoyment of his screaming fans. Watch the video above and tell us what you think.

His fun set also included renditions of tunes including “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” “Something’s Coming” and a cover of Britney Spears’ “Hit Me Baby One More Time.”

The night before Darren got into the holiday spirit at the Sing Out, Raise Hope benefit concert in NYC.

The Glee actor lent his voice to help raise funs for The Trevor Project and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation at the recital. He was looking sharp in a skinny red tie and thick framed glasses.
