After saying goodbye to Los Angeles, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are settling into their new Dallas digs. Over the weekend, the reality star got a warm welcome as she cheered on her hubby at his first game playing for the Dallas Mavericks. With the couple still trying to get their barrings in the Lonestar State, Big Rich Texas star Bon Blossman decided to lend her knowledge about the best hotspots, including where the two can have a paparazzi-free romantic date night and even where Lamar can get his sweet tooth fix!

So where should the Keeping Up With the Kardashians couple be when Lamar isn’t on the court playing ball?

Best Place for a Romantic Date: My number one suggestion for a romantic date in Dallas would be to stay at the Club Level at the Ritz Carlton. Upon check in, you can relax in the club lounge while you wait for your couple’s spa appointment. I know I’m an adult-child, but Jason and I had a blast playing Jenga in the Club Lounge for a bit. The spa is unbelievable! Book a spa afternoon and relax the day away before hitting the Club Lounge again for a pre-dinner cocktail and appetizer. The Club Lounge staff are unsurpassed and will cater to your every need. For dinner, either make reservations at the hotel’s Fearings, or take the hotel’s Bentley service to The Mansion on Turtle Creek. Both restaurants are equally amazing and very romantic. Back at the hotel, the lobby is a Dallas hot spot so have a blast until you’re ready to, uh…retire for the night. The next morning, the Club Lounge staff will greet you with open arms and serve you mimosas while you enjoy a scrumptious breakfast.

Best Place to Party: My house! There’s always a party going on, and Khloe and Lamar are both invited any time – call me! But for a night out, the Candle Room is quite swanky, the Ghost Bar is quite trendy, but in Dallas, it’s very easy to find a worthy red carpet charity event to attend if you want to get dressed up and have a blast while supporting a worthy cause. The Gayborhood of Dallas is a great experience! Hit up S-4 & JR’s for an excellent time. For a change up, I’d suggest staying a night at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine and check out the Glass Cactus. They have live bands and a high energy dance floor and unless it is Texas Tech weekend, it shouldn’t be too crowded!

Best Place to Shop: Galleria Dallas. Many people in Dallas prefer Northpark for many reasons, but the three story Galleria Dallas is home to me. The only negative to the Galleria Dallas is that there is not a Neiman Marcus. However, when you have a Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstroms, you’re going to be all right. The valet outside of Nordstroms is great – quick, friendly and dependable. The sushi place next to Macys, Little Katana Sushi Bar, is really good — which you’d never expect it to be since it’s a hole in the wall (literally), but it’s definitely worth a try while you shop. Also, if you get tired of shopping, you can ice skate! Just make sure you aren’t horrible because everybody in the mall can see you fall on your booty! The restaurant, Oceanaire, is awesome for a fine dining experience after your shopping day without having to drive anywhere.

Best Place to Pick Up Sweet Treats: Marble Slab Creamery. They have many locations around Dallas and once you try their home made ice cream, you’ll never look back. They have many treats to mix in with your choice of ice cream and they mix it on a cold slab right in front of you. For a sit down dessert delight, head straight to a Melting Pot – a romantic fondue restaurant. Order the dessert fondue experience. It is unbelievably tasty and quite romantic! Their dinner fondue is also amazing, by the way.

Best Restaurant to Over Indulge: Dallas is known for restaurants – both fine dining and country cooking. You’ll live here for years before you run out of new experiences. If you want Texas ‘down home’ cooking, I’d suggest Babe’s Chicken Dinner House. I’ve been there a few times and it’s a great experience. Be prepared to get stuffed without worrying about calorie intake, for sure! Nick and Sam’s Grill is a great choice for fine dining. You’ll definitely want to finish your plate, it’s yummy stuff!
