Demi Moore Worries She's 'Not Worthy of Being Loved'
Demi Moore gave a quite candid interview to Harper's Bazaar where she admitted to some of her insecurities, including her body image and a fear she has of not being loved.
This interview has been released just a few months after it was announced that she called it quits with her husband Ashton Kutcher. The stunning 49-year-old actress told the publication: "If I were to answer it just kind of bold-faced, I would say what scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I'm really not lovable, that I'm not worthy of being loved. That there's something fundamentally wrong with me."
The mother-of-three chatted with Amanda De Cadenet, who revealed that her biggest fear was infidelity. Demi, who has been faced with infidelity rumors involving her estranged husband, responded, saying:
"I used to think that what scared me was the idea of being abandoned until someone said to me, 'Only children can be abandoned. Adults can't be abandoned because we have a choice. Children don't have a choice."
Just this past year, Demi has been looking thinner than usual and disclosed that she does have issues with her body.
"I think I sit today in a place of greater acceptance of my body, and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age to now experiencing my body as extremely thin — thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, 'You're too thin, and you don't look good.'"
