Report: Taylor Swift, Amanda Seyfried Offered Roles in 'Les Miserables'
According to Broadway World (via Twitch), Taylor has been offered the coveted role of Eponine in Tom Hooper's (The King Speech) big screen adaptation of Les Miserables, beating out such A-list stars as Lea Michele, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood.
If cast, Taylor, who appeared in the 2010 ensemble comedy Valentine's Day, would perform one of the show's most famous songs, "On My Own."
Also offered a role in the film, which co-stars Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and more, is actress Amanda Seyfried, who would play Cosette. Seyfried previously starred alongside Meryl Streep in the movie adaptation of Mamma Mia!, in 2008.
Les Miserables hits theaters on Dec. 7.
What do you think, Broadway fans? Are Taylor and Amanda right for their respective roles? Or is this another case of miscasting? Sound off in the comments!

I agree, why not. She is so talented!
Wh not!?
no no no taylor swift is not right for this role!!!! have they heard lea michele sing on my own???? i mean c'mon! lea is so perfect for it. taylor can't act and she can't belt out big songs like that. lea can belt and she has experience with dark musical roles. amanda seyfried is good for cosette though.
