We all loved Bridesmaids, right? Good movie! The studio is considering a sequel, which is great! Now comes the (possibly) bad news. According to The Hollywood Reporter, part two may be missing leading lady Kristen Wiig. Say whaaa?!?
Would you watch a Bridesmaids sequel without Kristen?
“We aren’t working on [a sequel],” the SNL star, who co-wrote the film with Annie Mumolo, told The Hollywood Reporter. “Annie and I aren’t planning a sequel. We are writing something else.”
THR says the studio is considering moving forward without her, adding that the studio is focused on breakout star Melissa McCarthy “as a key player to get a sequel rolling.”

Noooo!! I love Kristen! She’s my fav actress on SNL!!
Never. And I think a lot of people will feel the same way so it would be a waste of their time to make a sequel without Kristen. I loved the movie and I think they were all great in it but she was my favortie actress of all. And I love her on SNL also.

I actually liked EVERY OTHER CHARACTER in this movie besides Kristen. She was so dull and boring.
idk I think it can still be great without her. Her character wasn’t that memorable it was the storyline and comedy that made the movie a hit. I would go see it.
