Nick Cannon appears to be in good spirits, after he was hospitalized with what wife Mariah Carey termed “mild kidney failure.” In a new photo, uploaded by Mariah, she is playfully kissing her hubby, while he rests up in an Aspen hospital.

"Thank you everyone for all the love & concern. Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis. Hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days. As always, he's laughing and in good spirits," she tweeted.

The couple have high hopes about Nick's recovery, telling People, "The situation is not easy." Carey says Cannon is stable but "in a lot of pain."

"We are hopeful that he'll be 100 percent as soon as possible," she added.
