Christina Aguilera: 'I Love My Body, My Boyfriend Loooves My Body'
Despite some scrutiny over her fluctuating weight (i.e. Kelly Osbourne's Fashion Police remarks that included, "I was never that fat."), Christina Aguilera told Marie Claire magazine that she's perfectly comfortable in her own skin.
"Being too thin. Being bigger. I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale. It's noise I block out automatically," she said of being under the spotlight. "I love my body. My boyfriend loooves my body. My son is healthy and happy, so that's all that matters to me."
The "Dirty" singer, 31, added, "I have certain physical features that I favor over others. We all have our areas."
Christina said that when she was filming Burlesque, she thought she got "too thin." She explained to Marie Claire:
"I don't weigh myself — it's all about how I feel in my clothes. What looks good on one person might not look good on another body type. I happen to be very confident in my own skin. It takes time to get to that place, but it's all about embracing yourself and your body."The pop star must feel most comfortable without pants because that seemed to be her go-to style in 2011.
