Report: Lindsay Lohan to Play Elizabeth Taylor?
As she gets her legal affairs in order, reports are circulating that troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is in talks to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming project.
But before you go planning next year’s Oscars, Deadline says the project, titled Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story, would air on Lifetime, and would follow Taylor’s notorious relationship with former husband and fellow-actor Richard Burton.
Lindsay, who recently appeared in a photo spread for Playboy, was previously up for the role of porn star Linda Lovelace in the movie Inferno. Due to her legal woes, Lindsay was fired from the project and replaced by actress Malin Akerman. She was also confirmed at one point to play Kim Gotti in Gotti: Three Generations, opposite John Travolta. No word yet on the status of that role.
Lindsay’s last acting gig was in the 2010 action flick Machete. She previously starred in the straight-to-TV movie Labor Pains, in 2009.
Taylor, a two-time Oscar-winning actress, died early last year from congestive heart failure. She was 79.

yup i want to see her in a movie again! she has made mistakes just like everyone else, its just been in the news more then anyone elses cuz it sells.
She hasn’t made mistakes like everybody else; I actually don’t know anybody who tries to pawn their cocaine off on their friends when stopped by the police, I don’t know anybody who steals from jewelry stores, I don’t know anybody who falls down in the street in front of virtually every nightclub they wander into.
She makes mistakes that if she weren’t an “actress” would land her in state prison.
Completely agree with you RobN! I’m pretty sure Elizabeth Taylor would prefer a woman to play her that has a little more class than Lindsay Lohan. Anne Hathaway or Emily Blunt just to name a few. I’m hoping her life turns around like Robert Downey, Jr’s. They both had really great careers until drugs got involved.

in what planet? no way does she even remotely resemble elizabeth at all, megan fox looks more like elizabeth than lindsay does!

Maybe the OLD pre-plastic surgery Lindsay looked somewhat like Elizabeth, but considering how much she’s ruined her face and her reputation, I think casting her as such is just a huge skid mark right across Elizabeth Taylor’s legacy.
