Best and Worst Dressed at 2012 People’s Choice Awards (PHOTOS)
The People’s Choice Awards marks the beginning of what’s sure to be a long awards season, and first impressions are quite important as everyone knows. So who came correct when it comes to fashion for the season’s first big show … and who needs to do some serious homework before the next big red carpet?
There were some definite winners: We absolutely loved Demi Lovato‘s super-curvy coral-colored dress, and Alyson Hannigan‘s bump-hugging red dress was perfect for the mood of the night. On the contrary, Ginnifer Goodwin’s bright-pink boxy dress was a head-scratcher for sure, and Nina Dobrev could have been among the best … if it wasn’t for one little thing that ruined it for us.

I love Demi and I think she’s soooo pretty, but in my opinion, I feel that the nose ring took away from the “pure” kinda “natural” look that it seems she was going for. Regardless, she was one of the best dressed and is such a beautiful singer <3

I think she’s gorgeous and that her makeup and hair looks lovely. But not a fan of the dress. To some degree it is nice, but I don’t like the length of it – it’s a bit awkward. And the layering of the tassels and flaps near the bottom of the dress make it look awkward. Just my opinion, not hating on Lea, just not my favourite outfit.
Her eye makeup looks so pretty and those shoes are so amazing!
Just because she’s 14 doesn’t mean she has to dress with a collar up to her neck, in something that looks quite badly made. She could have looked classy with just the right amount of sass at the same time.

I love this. I think it’s a bit unfair to say it’s a worst because of her hair. Her hair has been like this for a while, she can’t be expected to change it for an awards ceremony. I love the dress, and the hair and the lipstick looks fab with the skirt portion of the dress!

The dress is kind of neat in a vintage or “flapper” kind of way but I wouldn’t call it “best dressed” by any means. I’m especially not fond of her hair (it looks too big) or makeup (the pink shade on her lips looks wrong with her skin tone).

Perhaps if this had been a deeper jewel tone color of a dress it would have looked better. As is, it just kind of falls flat color wise.
I love Jennifer Lawrence but this dress has no flow to it whatsoever. A bad choice for sure.

I may be crazy but I actually like this dress. It was a risk but as far as I know, she’s not known for playing it safe. Once again though, I think a different color would have been better for this dress.
