Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are addressing on their blogs a report by the New York Post.

Kim wrote on her blog titled "Stepping Up to Correct the Lies":

We face adversity every week and as you all know, we have always tried to take the high road and continue to work hard. But when the media try to manipulate things and write things that are untrue about our business ventures and our shows, it’s time to step in and correct the lies. I would like to thank Forbes magazine for the article they posted today correcting the inaccuracies in a completely false and skewed article published in the NY Post this morning… As a family we work extremely hard and we are very proud of what we have achieved, and it’s disappointing to see people try to tear that down. We understand that news organizations have to do their job and report on what they feel their readers want to know about, and we appreciate and respect the ones that actually do their homework and release accurate information.

Meanwhile, her sisters also responded...

Khloe wrote in a blog titled Setting the Record Straight

Hey dolls. I just wanted to share this article that FORBES Magazine did on our family. As I’m sure you all know, recently our family has been receiving a lot of criticism, which of course has hurt, but luckily we’re a strong bunch and we always have each other’s backs so we didn’t let it get to us too much. But then today, an article was released by the NY Post that was so unbelievably false that we all felt a need to step up and defend ourselves. There have been so many rumors swirling and this one was really just the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. This is just plain mean and it’s so sad that people have to do this to get attention. I know this comes with the territory and I normally would never pay one ounce of attention to it, but it’s unfortunate when a news publication puts out inaccurate information without doing any fact checking — it’s just not fair to the readers who see this information.

Kourtney added:

Thank you Forbes Magazine for taking the time to do some fact checking and demonstrating a little journalistic integrity. This morning the NY Post shamelessly put a negative spin on the information they received from their ‘sources’ just to try to tear down what our family has worked so hard to build. We won’t stand for it.

Head over to www.forbes.com for the scoop. Thank you so much to our fans who always have our back. I love you all madly! xoxoxo

It seems like they are forever trying to stay in the spotlight. Every time something fails they pull another Rabbit out of their hat. Well guess what America is tired of looking at your rabbits. This is what happens when you become famous for having a sex tape. Sooner or later people get tired of looking at that same old tape. I think the show should go off air and people with real talent should have that hr.

This post is really annoying celebuzz.. You should state cleary in your post exactly what it is the new york post had said, before copying and pasting what the Kardashians had to say about it. Poorly put together.

Hey dolls - did you catch the artcle "Humphries Better Brand Than Kardashian" released the same day on Forbes - one Forbes hand gave, the other took away.

  • interestingt

I'm beginning to think that the Ks have some of these media outlets on their payroll. What's funny is that 2 Forbes writers can't agree - one disputes the NY Post article and the other (a sportswriter penning a story on Kim Humphries) quotes from the Post article. Sounds like Forbes needs to get its act together.
