Michelle Williams Channels Marilyn Monroe Again For GQ Lingerie Shoot
Hello Michelle Williams! If My Week With Marilyn didn’t get tongues wagging when Williams portrayed Marilyn Monroe, her unbelievably sexy photo spread with GQ magazine is sure to turn some heads.
The actress — who took home a Golden Globe Award on Sunday — opened up to GQ about her days coming up in Hollywood as the sexy character on Dawson’s Creek.
“I wouldn’t say that that would be one of my first qualities as a human being—being sexy. And I think because my character on Dawson’s Creek was sexy…sexualized…sexual…I saw all the negative attention and connotations that can come along with that. And that those things can keep people from seeing you clearly.”
Perhaps coming up the way she did helped her land the role of Monroe?
As some may recall, Michelle had a relationship with Heath Ledger and is the mother of his child Matilda. She opened up about her attraction to the late Dark Knight star, telling GQ candidly:
“There’s an answer that I know, but I don’t want to say. … Our initial meeting, the circumstances of how we first met, were cosmic or something. Yeah, a lot of things happened at once. … It’s a bit like: We had a lot of things to do, because we didn’t have a lot of time, or something.”
