Rachel Berry's Gay 'Glee' Dads Revealed!
It's the moment Gleeks have been waiting for since the series began! Rachel Berry's two gay dads have finally been revealed.
According to TVLine.com, the roles have gone to Hollywood heavyweight Jeff Goldblum and Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell. The men will take on the coveted Glee parts of Rachel's (played by Lea Michele) adoptive parents Hiram and LeRoy Berry.
So now that we know who is taking on the roles, when can we see the dads in action, and will they be singing?!
TVLine confirms that the duo will first hit the small screen for the show's Valentine's Day episode titled "Heart," airing appropriately on Feb. 14. Also, get ready to see Goldblum and Mitchell sing! You can't play Rachel Berry's parents without breaking out into song.
Both guys have musical experience. Goldblum starred in the 1971 Broadway play Two Gentleman in Verona, while Mitchell has made his mark in theater, starring in plays including Jelly’s Last Jam, Ragtime, Man of La Macha and Kiss Me Kate.
Jeff is also a jazz musician. Check him out singing/scatting in the clip below. Do you think they made the right choice for Rachel's dads? Defend your answer in the comments!
