Demi Moore Checks Into Treatment Center, See Her Post-Ashton Kutcher Split Timeline (PHOTOS)
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that the 49-year-old actress had checked herself into a treatment facility, admitting that due to the “stresses in her life” she “has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”
While we’re wishing all the best for Demi during this difficult time, we put together a timeline of what Demi has been up to since she pulled the plug on her marriage to Ashton Kutcher in November.
Backtracking just a bit, reports of infedility on Ashton’s part began to surface in September after a woman named Sara Leal came forward, saying she slept with Ashton on the night of his sixth wedding anniversary with Demi.
While there were a few tweets from Ashton telling fans “don’t believe the hype,” as well as plenty of sightings where Ashton was still proudly sporting his wedding band, it appears as though the rumors got the best of their marriage. Demi filed for divorce on November 17.
Just days after the split, Ashton was seen in Italy over Thanksgiving with Italian writer Lorene Scafaria.
Early in January, Demi opened up to Harper’s Bazaar, admitting she was worried she wasn’t worthy of being loved. In a raw statement, Demi said:
“If I were to answer it just kind of bold-faced, I would say what scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved. That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me.”
There were also a couple different men that Demi was linked to. First, Scott-Vincent Borba back in December, but a source confirmed to Celebuzz that the two were nothing more than friends. Then, reports were swirling that she was spending time with 23-year-old male model Blake Corl-Baietti, but once again, those rumors were shot down.
It was just last week that Demi was seen with her daughter Rumer Willis at Cinema For Peace event at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Also, she attended a separate Golden Globes party held at SoHo House, where she was cordial with her soon-to-be-ex husband.
Which brings us to January 24, when the sad news that Demi has checked herself into a treatment facility broke. It was later reported that she has dropped out of her commitments to appear in the movie Lovelace. The controversial movie stars Amanda Seyfriend and is currently filming.
