Remember the good old days when the afternoon was spent waiting to see if Nsync took the number one spot from Backstreet Boys on TRL? Or -- if you were lucky enough -- you'd wait outside the studio in Times Square with a sign, hoping to catch a glimpse of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera or host Carson Daly?

Well, this weekend, VH1 is airing an exclusive Rock Doc, The TRL Decade, which pays tribute to the music video countdown and takes a walk down memory lane. In light of the episode, we've decided to look back at older photos from the show. Click through the gallery to see all the stars -- way back when they appeared on TRL.
