The book was enjoyable to read but the director and screenwriters messed up big time.. They missed a HUGE opportunity to make an amazing movie.. Instead they made a movie that told 1/3 of the story and lacked character development.. Those actresses got lucky. Want to see a good movie rent 50/50.. I can't believe that hasn't been as recognized this awards season.
