SAG Awards 2012 Worst Dressed (PHOTOS)

As fabulous as the fashion was on the 2012 SAG Awards red carpet, there were just a few fashionistas who missed the mark.
From Glee star Lea Michelle showing us just a little too much leg to Bridesmaid’s Kristen Wiig’s choker choice, they are among the fashion misses of the evening.

Although I don’t think she’s worst dressed, I don’t think she’s best either. I think it’s just okay. Aside from that, I think she does indeed try way too hard. And I hate the shoes.
This may be one of my least favorite dresses of the night. It’s just such an odd choice for such a pretty lady.

She definitely needed understated jewelry for this to work. I think the gown is lovely, but the choker just doesn’t work at all especially with a halter neckline. Definitely not ‘worst’ though.
Zoe Saldana is ridiculously gorgeous, but I really don’t understand this fashion choice. She looks stunning in white, but this is way too much… and the dress itself is just kinda weird. It looks like bedazzled beachwear on top and David’s Bridal wedding gown on the bottom.
I agree that Lea Michele almost always tries way too hard. The way she poses on the red carpet says it all really. But speaking strictly fashionwise, this look could’ve been a lot better if she toned down the sexiness. The slit is pretty hot and the wrapping detail in the bodice is edgy so I think she should’ve pulled her hair back in an elegant but youthful updo/low bun to balance out the look. She could’ve still made a bold statement without looking like she was trying so hard.
I’m all for a bold color as long as it’s flattering. This green is pushing ‘day glow’ though. Not good. The gown itself is fine just not the color.
Take the bow off and this could be a fantastic look. I like that she was trying a lower hemline. But let’s be honest, NO ONE’s body is ever flattered by a bow that is consuming their chest.

I actually don’t mind this. The fabric on the top of the dress looks a little too shiny (or it may just be the photo… I don’t know), but other than that I think she looks pretty good.
This dress is so close to being awesome but it got stuck in the middle in the design. If the dress was made strapless with that detailed bodice and a black skirt (so get rid of all the black portions from the waist up), it would be so hot. Maybe a bit risque for the SAGs, but awesome. Or if it went the other way and that detailed bodice wasn’t there are it was a solid black gown with a conservative neckline, it could’ve looked great too. I mean it fits her VERY well, but the dress itself is just confusing.
Agreed. It is quite matronly. Her chest looks amazing, but the dress is doing absolutely nothing for her.
Also, this gown was definitely meant for someone much taller.
I actually don’t mind the pantsuit. Kudos for doing something different! This hairstyle doesn’t work with the outfit though. Something sleeker and pulled back would’ve looked nicer and balanced the less formal pantsuit.

I read somewhere a comment about her dress at the Globes that was like “So J-Lo or Beyonce can dress like that and be considered classy and sexy, but if somebody else like Lea dresses like that, she’s a slut?” Totally agree. Lea always dresses up good.

This isn’t bad. Far from being a favourite, but not one of the worst in my opinion.
While the dress itself is gorgeous, what makes this a bad look is the way that Lea poses in it. The sexiness of a high slit is in getting glimpses of the wearer’s leg, but Lea poses (and walks) while holding the slit wide open to show her entire leg. That’s what makes this tacky…not the dress.
I’ve actually seen this dress in Harrods and on net a porter and it’s stunning in real life. i just don’t think it flatters her figure, It looks lovely on taller people.

she looks ehh. she just tries wayyyyy too hard. if she did it elegantly i think it would have been better. there is no reason to have your whole leg sticking out, we get it you have nice legs and you are trying to be sexy with it sticking alllll the way out. and the shoes are awful

i like the dress. simple but elegant. i thought at first the choker was attached to the dress. but yeah wow she should have lost the necklace and it would have been flawless.
